The 2020 Virtual Mock Pitch Program gave law firm associates and junior partners the opportunity to do a virtual business pitch. This program was designed to improve participants skills and receive feedback from leading experts in IP and law. In-house counsel acted as Mock Clients to help the next generation prepare for tough, but routine business occurrences. The firms invited to participate are those who ranked highly in the Diversity & Inclusion Blueprint Survey, a joint initiative between ChIPs and The Diversity Lab.

The 2020 Next Gen Summit was a virtual three day Summit consisting of workshops, panels and fireside chats.

Next Gen Summit content was curated specifically for junior to mid-level female attorneys who work in technology, policy, private practice, corporations or government.

The first two days consisted of interactive workshops focusing on communication, presentation & negotiation skills. The third day featured a Judges Panel on "Advocating for Yourself", a fireside chat between Juanita Brooks and Meredith Price, and a discussion between ChIPs Board Members Sarita Venkat and Katherine Minarik on "How to be a Badass".
