Alexa Summer is the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Rho Technologies, a financial technology company which offers an integrated platform and suite of products designed to make finance frictionless for its business clients. At Rho, Alexa oversees legal affairs, risk management, compliance, and public policy. Alexa is also privileged to be the executive sponsor for Rho’s employee resource groups, Women @ Rho and Pride @ Rho. Before joining Rho, Alexa was on the Risk and Regulatory Legal team at Airbnb for four years; during that time Airbnb grew exponentially, built critical organizational processes, weathered travel disruption from the global pandemic, and went public. Prior to her in-house roles, Alexa was in private practice in the Bay Area, and served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of California. Alexa clerked for the Honorable William Alsup in U.S. District Court in San Francisco.
