Described as a “real star in the data privacy space” by the Legal 500, Kate’s practice focuses on incident response and prevention and litigation involving cyber and data issues. The former contentious data privacy lead at PwC in the UK, Kate is currently a consultant in HSF’s global cyber and data security team. Kate advocates a rights based analysis to privacy issues. She has extensive experience of all the laws protecting the ECHR Article 8 right to private and family life, including data protection, misuse of private information, misuse of confidential information, defamation and harassment, representing clients in litigation in the High Court and Court of Appeal in England.
