Microsoft Responsibilities/Contributions – In this role Linda is responsible for leading the team of legal professionals that provide legal and regulatory advice to Microsoft’s Gaming business. Linda serves on the Senior Leadership teams for the Gaming Division and the Corporate, External and Legal Affairs groups.

Linda has served in multiple roles within Microsoft, including stints as a senior member of Microsoft’s Litigation group, and as the leader of the legal teams supporting the Windows Phone and the Devices groups.

Pre-Microsoft Work Experience - Prior to joining Microsoft, Linda was a partner in the Seattle law firm of McDonald & Quackenbush, LLP.

Education – As the child of a career military officer, Linda grew up on military bases around the world and across the United States. She received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, where she met her husband (also a lawyer).

Affiliations – Linda is a champion of diversity and inclusion and frequently speaks on this issue. She was selected as one of the top 20 businesswomen in Washington state by the National Diversity Council in 2015. She currently serves on Microsoft’s Gaming for Everyone Leadership team and is an executive sponsor for a women’s employee network at Microsoft.

Family/Other Interests – Linda lives in the Seattle area with her husband and has two adult children. She is an avid reader and sings in a rock and roll band.
