She made headlines in February of 2019 when she helped free client 21 Savage from ICE detention and in August of 2018, when she again took on President Trump over his unauthorized use of Steven Tyler’s music at campaign rallies.

For the 18th consecutive year, Dina taught her UCLA Extension class, “Legal and Practical Aspects of the Music Business.” Billboard called the class an “industry must-attend” and a “breeding ground for some of the music industry's best and brightest.” Dina also presented a TED Talk on the importance of standing up for songwriters.
