Danielle Merida is General Counsel at TaskRabbit where she manages all aspects of TaskRabbit’s liability and oversees Regulatory Affairs and People Operations. Danielle is a true business partner to colleagues focused on getting to yes, helping the business grow, and providing practical advice to a cutting-edge startup at the forefront of the fast-paced gig economy.

Prior to joining TaskRabbit, Danielle spent ten years as at Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group in San Francisco as Senior Vice President of Legal focusing on strategy and growth. Prior to joining Kimpton, Danielle was a Deputy County Counsel for Contra Costa County and in private practice at Bingham McCutchen (acquired by Morgan Lewis). Danielle received her law degree at Columbia Law School and her Bachelor of Science from U.C. Davis. Danielle is on the Board of Directors of Girls Leadership which equips girls with the skills to exercise the power of their voice.
