Barbara is an economist with a background in intellectual property valuations. She is an angel investor and founding member of Astia Angels. She has a personal portfolio of over 40 investments. She is also a Deal Leader for the Portfolia Venture Capital Funds and the Rising Tide Europe program. Barbara's portfolio consists of a broad range of high-growth technology companies across the US and in Europe. All of the companies in Barbara's personal portfolio had a woman on the founding team at the time of investment. She launched The Impact Seat to work with companies on diversity and inclusion strategy. She holds a Bachelors in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University and a Masters in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University.
