A legal executive with more than 20 years of experience leading global litigation, regulatory investigations and enterprise risk management for Fortune 100 and high-growth companies, Heidi Nadel currently serves as head of U.S. litigation and government investigations at HP, where she advises key stakeholders on high-stakes disputes, investigations and potential exposures.
Her leadership spans intellectual property (including SEP/FRAND strategy across the U.S., Germany, Brazil and the Unified Patent Court), complex commercial disputes, securities and employment litigation, and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining HP, Heidi built an extensive private practice career as a partner, senior counsel and trial lawyer at Todd & Weld LLP, Holland & Knight LLP and Bingham McCutchen LLP, and founded and led her own boutique firm, Cross Nadel LLC. She served as first-chair trial lawyer in complex commercial, intellectual property, employment and white-collar disputes, and was appointed national counsel in multidistrict and class action litigation.
Beyond the courtroom, she advised corporate clients on internal investigations and defended them in matters before the DOJ, SEC, FTC and state attorneys general, and coordinated cross-border disputes spanning the U.S., UK, Australia and Turkey.
