Kate Sorensen Razavi is an experienced litigator and trial attorney, focusing on intellectual property litigation. She has worked closely with many of the firm’s largest clients, managing sophisticated IP matters for Fortune 500 companies in federal courts nationwide. Kate serves as the deputy leader for Faegre Drinker’s national patent litigation practice. In addition to patent litigation, she is a go-to advisor and litigator for IP licensing disputes, from counseling clients through early stage IP licensing disputes to vigorous litigation.
As an extension of her courtroom practice, Kate is a national speaker on trial advocacy and legal design. She is a co-founder of the Faegre Drinker Design Lab, a partnership with Stanford Law School, and serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota Law School. Kate offers legal design services to Faegre Drinker clients on IP cases and other legal matters.
