Caitlyn Chacon leads litigation at Runway, an applied AI research lab building foundational AI video generation and world models. Caitlyn’s work puts her at the front lines of AI copyright litigation and the emerging robotics and physical AI space. Before joining Runway, Caitlyn led litigation at Samsara, a platform with hardware and software solutions that improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of companies with physical operations.

Prior to her time at Samsara, Caitlyn was a litigation associate at Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where she focused on government and internal investigations, as well as complex federal and state court cases, including antitrust, securities, intellectual property and commercial litigation.
