Sri Atluri leads the Intellectual Property Center of Expertise at Walmart. Her team manages Walmart’s global trademark and patent portfolios, assists with IP transactions, advises with respect to IP issues around AI and GenAI, and generally looks to mitigate IP risk across the company.


Before joining Walmart, Sri was Director and Associate General Counsel of Patents at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, managing a team of patent attorneys in developing and deploying patent strategy across HPE’s businesses. She is also an experienced IP litigator, having previously held the role of senior litigation counsel at HPE, overseeing district court and ITC actions, appeals before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). In addition, Sri held the role of IP strategy counsel at HPE, managing several patent portfolios.

Prior to moving in-house, Sri was a senior associate at Paul Hastings LLP where she helped begin the firm’s Patent Office Practice group, focusing on post-grant proceedings before the PTAB. She also spent several years as an associate at Finnegan Henderson LLP. Her practice at Finnegan involved a wide variety of patent litigation in various forums.

Sri has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is passionate about advancing women in tech and law. She is Treasurer of the Greater Philadelphia Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and is a co-founder of the Philadelphia Chapter of ChIPs.
