Tanya Kiatkulpiboone is Head of Legal at Speedo North America, bringing over a decade of multifaceted corporate and legal experience from across a multitude of consumer-facing industries. As the first dedicated and sole legal counsel for the region, Tanya manages all legal functions for Speedo in the United States and Canada, including corporate governance, contracts, compliance, regulatory affairs, licensing, sponsorships and disputes. Her background equips her with a unique perspective and an agility in addressing the varied legal challenges faced by the dynamic apparel sector.

Since joining Speedo, Tanya has been honored with the business’ Global Service Model award for her exemplary work in guiding U.S. operations through a complex exit from a third-party logistics provider. She plays a pivotal role as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, challenging assumptions and encouraging alternative courses of action to align with long-term organizational goals.

In prior roles, Tanya served as intellectual property and licensing counsel for both the wine industry as well as a large national toy manufacturer and distributor, managing and optimizing global IP portfolios through clearance, prosecution, protection, and monetization.

Tanya is a founding member and former president of the Thai American Bar Association, a member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and a Pro Bono Committee volunteer with the Association of Corporate Counsel of Southern California.
