Kelly Jo MacArthur joined Amazon in 2012. She is currently VP and AGC, Global Media and Entertainment, responsible for Content Policy, Amazon Games, Amazon Music, Amazon Studios, Audible, Prime Video, MGM, and Twitch. She has also served as VP Real Estate for Physical Stores, VP Legal for Physical Stores, and VP IP Acquisitions and Investments. She has held legal executive roles at Nintendo of America; Linden Lab/Second Life; RealNetworks, Inc; MusicNet (the first legal Internet music business and a joint venture between RealNetworks, AOL and three major record labels); and Tribune Co./Compton’s NewMedia, and was an attorney at Sidley Austin in Chicago. Ms. MacArthur is a graduate of Harvard Law School and the University of Illinois. She has taught at the University of Washington Law School, Columbia College, and University of Illinois-Springfield. She was a founding board member of the Digital Media Association (DiMA), and is or has been a board member at the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), Seattle Opera, the Software Information Industry Association (SIIA), the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA), the RealNetworks Foundation, and other non-profit and for profit boards. She has three children.
