Andrea is an attorney and Chief of Staff to Steve Rodgers, EVP and General Counsel of Intel. Steve leads the Growth Acceleration Team (GAT), encompassing the Intel Legal Department, Ethics & Legal Compliance, and Government Policy & Trade.
As Chief of Staff, Andrea is a trusted advisor to senior leaders on a wide range of culture issues, communication strategy, and legal and business operations for the department. In addition, Andrea is currently doing work the Ethics & Legal Compliance team, helping to lead the design and implementation of Intel’s Global Human Rights Principles specific to product responsibility. Andrea is a passionate leader on the Diversity & Inclusion team in GAT, helping to drive diversity and inclusion efforts at Intel and working to transform the legal profession with initiatives like The Intel Rule.
Andrea is an active volunteer in organizations supporting the advancement of women, diversity and inclusion, and law student development and mentorship within the legal profession. Most recently, she was featured as a panelist in the ChIPs “State of the Market” panel discussion. She also recently conducted mock interviews for 1Ls participating in the Law in Technology Diversity Collaborative (LiTD) and in Hanson Bridgett’s 1L Interview Workshop.
Andrea received a bachelor’s degree and law degree from Santa Clara University. She is an adjunct lecturer at Santa Clara Law, teaching Critical Lawyering Skills, a required 1L class focused on the competencies students need to succeed in law school and entering the legal profession.
Prior to joining Intel, Andrea worked at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, CA. Prior to WSGR, she worked in the Office of Career Management at Santa Clara Law. She is a Bay Area native and lives in Campbell with her husband and two sons.
