Marjorie Goux is Chief Legal Counsel at CLIF BAR, makers of the CLIF and LUNA energy bars that fuel our adventures, and she is a strategic advisor for the award-winning kids’ computing startup TANOSHI. Previously, she served as Division Counsel for a series of CLOROX businesses with brands such as BURT'S BEES, CLOROX, LIQUID PLUMR, GLAD, BRITA, KC MASTERPIECE, HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH and FRESH STEP while also serving as Chief Counsel for Clorox’s Global Alliances team. Marjorie developed deep expertise in IP law and anti-counterfeiting at HP and BAKER MCKENZIE in London, UK and Palo Alto, USA.

A passionate advocate for breaking the poverty cycle through education and for growing opportunities for women and girls, Marjorie supports this through board and other work. Currently she is Board Chair at the Oakland Public Education Fund and an advocate for Girls Inc. of Alameda County in Oakland, California.

Marjorie graduated from the University of Washington (BSc Chemistry) and University College, London (Law). She also keeps busy with her 15-year-old boy and girl twins.
